This is the easiest and greatest way to make coffee. It brews it right into individual travel mugs (either 1 mug or 2 mugs), and you still use your own coffee. Using a standard #2 filter, and your favorite fresh coffee, 1 scoop per mug, you have great coffee in a matter of minutes, without the expense of the fancy $100+ machines. I have had my machine for over 8 years. I just bought a second one for my 92 year old father. There is no heating element for a pot to sit on (great safety feature), and the travel mugs are a perfect size. I have also brewed coffee into my own mugs with out a problem. Sometimes you simply have to use those mugs your wife and kids buy you. Also, since there is not pot, clean-up is a breeze, just throw away the used filter and grounds. Do yourself a favor: Quite wasting coffee and make it by the cup.Read full review
I bought one of these for myself. I am the only one in the family that drinks coffee so don't need to make a large pot. This makes just two travel mugs full. Perfect. My daughter-in-law is in the same situation, so I bought this one for her. It uses either paper filters or the "gold" reusable filters. the one thing I dislike about the product is that it takes several minutes for the coffee to drip through, so the cup doesn't get hot as the coffee brews. The result is a less than steaming cup of coffee. The solution suggested in the manual is to pour hot water into the cup and let it sit prior to making your cup. These cups are not microwavable, so you have to heat water - either by running water, or heating it in the microwave and pouring it into the cup. I ended up with 2 ceramic mugs that work perfectly. You can brew just one cup or the two cups. Overall I would say it was a good investment.Read full review
My husband and I were tired of the carafe because we were always breaking them and wasting coffee. Then we tried a Cuisinart coffee maker with a built in carafe. The coffee was cold after being brewed. We opted for this TTG-500 3.5 Cup Coffee Maker and we love it. It allows my husband and I to make our coffee at different times in the morning and it comes out perfectly hot and fresh. My mother-in-law uses it to heat up water for tea as well (she has one too). When we have guests I brew both cups and pour the coffee into cups - not too inconvienant. All three of us are perfectly satisfied with our machines and wish we had them sooner. Takes #2 filters.
Love this coffee brewer! Have had one for many years, but now is no longer manufactured. I was trying to keep the old one together and saw this on ebay. Brand new, in the box, and it was a perfect replacement. SHipped quickly and item as promised! Love, Love!!

This is our second "Two to Go". Our original one did eventually leak a little (after many years of regular use), but still kept working. It appears to be discontinued now, so I was happy to find a new one available. It can brew one or two 14oz cups - just the right size for the morning coffee and uses just 5 scoops of coffee for the two! Travel mugs keep the coffee warm just long enough. Very happy with the Cuisinart Two to Go Coffee Maker.
