In Lost in Time, you play the part of Doralice Prunelier, who at the age of 27 in 1992, becomes instrumental in the 21st century Space-Time Police (STP) search for a master criminal, Jarlath Equs. She is chosen (unknowingly on her part) in 2092 by the Central Computer of the STP to assist in the search for and eventual arrest of the thief Equs because of her historical-temporal ties with him. <br><br>Equs stole a sample of some radioactive Americium 1492, a material with huge potential as a revolutionary military threat that needs 3,000 years to "cool off." He devises a radical plan where he takes the material back three millenniums in history and hides it in an Egyptian tomb, slips back to the "future" and waits for the opportunity to use it. <br><br>Unfortunately, he gets sidetracked in 1840 on his return to the future (present) and marries one of Doralice's distant (time-wise) antecedents, thus creating a future temporal link. The game takes you to three locations in the past and two specific time periods. The interface is mouse controlled (with keyboard support) and uses a hybrid on-screen point-and-click menu system.
