As the title character, Twinsen, you suddenly find yourself in the midst of a struggle to save the entire planet, Twinsun, from the tyrannical Dr. Funfrock who has imprisoned you so you can't interfere with his world domination scheme. The bad doctor's diabolical plan for total control is possible through two discoveries: the ability to clone the four different species that live on Twinsun, allowing him unlimited army recruits, and teleportation to move those troops anywhere on the planet.
