Star Wars Legacy of the Force takes place 40 years after the Battle of Yavin. The galaxy has been under the ruling of the Galactic Alliance and it is protected by the New Jedi Order run by Grand Master Luke Skywalker. Exile is the 4th book in the Legacy story arch. With each victory against the Corellian rebels, Jacen Solo becomes more admired, more powerful, and more certain of achieving galactic peace. But that peace may come with a price. Despite strained relationships caused by opposing sympathies in the war, Han and Leia Solo and Luke and Mara Skywalker remain united by one frightening suspicion: Someone insidious is manipulating this war, and if he or she isn't stopped, all efforts at reconciliation may be for naught. And as sinister visions lead Luke to believe that the source of the evil is none other than Lumiya, Dark Lady of the Sith, the greatest peril revolves around Jacen himself. Meanwhile Luke Skywalker's son Ben is presented with a challenge that will take him to Ziost, the Sith Homeworld, which will test him to the very limit as he fights monsters within and without. It is very fun watching the fall of Jacen Solo towards becoming a Dark Lord of the Sith. It is almost like watching a car wreck in slow motion. All of his actions seem very logical and correct, until you look at them in a larger context. I cannot wait to get the new book, Sacrifice! A book and series worthy of the title Star Wars!Read full review
Exile is the 3rd book of the Legacy of the Force Series. I must say the series is one of the best I have read since the original Episodes. Aaron Allston is a wonderful writer who continues the series without missing a beat. If you are interested in great read: Follow Jana and Jacen (twins of Leia and Han Solo) on a quest that may tear a great friendship and a family apart; as it takes loyalty and love to the brink of disaster; as it sets father against son, brother against sister, and the Jedi order once again against the dark side of the force.
I really enjoyed this series. Start from the beginning!
