Ray Charles was one of our old time greatest, and to see his life acted out on screen, was the icing on the cake. They couldn't have picked a better person to play the role of RC. Jamie Fox should have gotten an Oscar for a very well done portrayal. He was excellent!
I have always respected the music of both Ray Charles and Jamie Foxx even before Jamie Foxx became popular for his musical talents. This movie was a very touching story that was told with class and finesse. It revealed some very dark and troubling times in the life of Ray Charles, but its smooth delivery did not leave a bitter after-taste in your mouth. The movie also revealed varying levels of Jamie Foxx's talents...5 STARS all the way!!!
This movie is a great movie.. No boring moments and really good from start to finish. Jamie Foxx does a great job doing Ray... Plays him better than river phoneix played Johnny cash I think. This is great movie, If you haven't seen it you should definitely watch it.
Didn't intend to order a HD DVD. My dvd player is a regular one. My sister's HD player and game system that also plays HD DVDs could play this item. Bummer.
