Sony's basketball franchise returns to PSP with new game modes, mini-games, and updated visuals. Going beyond the hardwood courts of traditional hoops action, NBA 07 features a new conquest mode that involves claiming "territory" from rival NBA teams. Other additions include a dunk contest, which has you mastering rhythm-based controls to execute a number of high-flying, rim-rattling slams, and a pick-up game, where you select one of ten NBA players in an outdoor playground match. Of course, would-be coaches can still embark on an 82-game NBA season complete with trades, free agents, and injuries.<br><br>NBA 07 expands the original title's mini-game roster with the inclusion of skee-ball, pinball, and "pop-a-shot" games to go along with the previously available dodgeball and HORSE options. Top performances in each mini-game will award players credits to unlock artwork, throwback jerseys, and videos. The updated presentation offers a new highlight reel option, motion-captured animations designed to run at a fluid 60 frames per second, and play-by-play commentary by sports broadcaster Ian Eagle. Once players have mastered the solo content, they can challenge other PSP owners to a wireless game via Ad-hoc or Infrastructure modes.Product Identifiers
