If you've played one Armored Core, you've played them all. That's the only downside to this game, however. The graphics, of course, are exceptional with more destructable environments as well as actual troops fighting in the fray. Building the ACs are a little more difficult to build and get the stats you're looking for, but it gives it a very unique realistic feel. The fact that parts can be destroyed and tuned makes customization and skill much more fun and a more interesting challenge, but the one on one versus arena has become much more challenging. You can easily find yourself dreading having to fight an AC in any of the missions. But all in all it is a very good game and if you the style of gameplay or enjoyed the other Armored Cores and you can find this at a good price, then I can definetly recommend it.Read full review
Game play in last Raven is pretty much the same, some of the movement controls have changed, but overall game play is almost the same. I will say that the difficulty level is somewhat higher, but once you get used to the differences it is quite enjoyable.

I decided to buy it because I have all the other Armored Core titles ever made. The graphics are reallllllllllllyyyyy great. I know the controls u have to get use to but it's not that hard u know. U can get use to the controls like the first 4 missions I think. When I got this game I kinda suck at it for 10 minutes after that I got wayyyyyy good and I was playing on HARD!!! Oh yeah wen u use the diffcult ac all missions have a great thrill in them. Makes u think fast and if ur like me a amroed core fan once u play this game u'll might not want to even put the controler down. Hey all u guys who like armored core if u dont have this game. Yes, yes, yes, Like its predasessors before it, Armored Core: Last Raven (ACLR) has great graphics for the time with solid gameplay and sound design. The numerous tables, charts, and menus to customize your AC can be daunting and may turn off players looking for a more casual experience. That aside, the gameplay is fast paced and deep, and with the ability to transfer over data from Armored Core: Nexus and Nine Breaker, it is a good game for returning fans.
