This was my 2nd order of the mirror. One for me n other of late for my GF's bike. It's EZ to install and the joints are purposely made hard to turn so it won't go out of alignment as most of the handle bar mounting mirrors. This one wedges into the end of the handle instead. The expandable wedge fits tube end of inside diameters 0.54 to 0.875". Wished the range was stated on the ads and i had to send this question. Yet, Jim answered it quickly. So far, mine had lasted 1 yr and unlike Schwinn's handle mounted one, it still keeps its position tight. Only a deliverate twist or a hard bump would misaligh the mirror. The mirror has no distortion other than an object looks far away than actually is. Wished the mirror radius is a bit bigger. And be sure to turn the mirror in when u turn the bike upside down for service! Very very satisfied w the product. forget those weak handle bar clamp types.Read full review

These mirrors are horrible. I just bought my second one and it dropped during assembly, and the glass instantly shattered, on a non-concrete floor no less. Sadly, this was the second one of these I bought to replace the first one I bought because the glass also shattered in that one from a simple drop. These mirrors are made of super cheap glass and break from the slightest drop impact. Why would you want such cheap glass on something like a bicycle that is specifically made to be dropped, banged around, etc...

Hands down the best designed bike mirror I've seen. Super easy to install and adjust, quality construction, gives a great view of what's behind you, and looks nice on the bike as well. IMO much easier to use than the ones that mount on your helmet, image stays stable instead of moving around with your head. All this at an extremely reasonable price. I had my first one for 15 years before the plastic around one of the thread inserts finally cracked, got a new one without hesitation as soon as I could. Just put one on the wife's bike and she loves it. Don't think about it, just buy it and you won't be sorry.

Every biker needs a mirror (or two) to avoid drifting from your intended and safe path when you turn your head around to look. This one is easy to install if you have a pop-out handle bar end cap. Just slide it into the handle bar tube and tighten the three hex head screws with the mirror in your position of choice. If the handle bar grip is solid, you will have to cut a hole in the grip to insert the mirror shaft. The all-ways adjustable assembly is plastic but seems well made and has no sharp spots or protrusions once installed. The mirror itself appears to be made of glass and looks slightly convex to give you a wider angle of view without a lot of distortion. The mirror part is also sold separately so you can replace it if you break it but the rest of the assembly is intact. Overall, your safety on your bike is well worth the price. Get a bike mirror. This one is an excellent choice.Read full review

The ONLY mirror to put on a bicycle, and I've tried them all. Mirrycle mirrors are the only way to go. All the others fall short on quality and visibility. I have one on all my bicycles now. Can easily be adjusted to any viewing position. Once adjusted, all but a direct sideward impact will allow the mirror to escape damage. I've only had one break because the bike fell over directly on the mirror. That being stated, I've had them get whacked on trees and shrubs while doing upward of 15mph, and haven't had any damage yet. They offer enough viewing space to see both behind you and off to the side, allowing you to make fairly sound judgements about what is approaching you from either side of the rear when monitored properly. Even without my glasses, it's easy for me to see whether or not I can move over safely. Cannot recommend these enough. Don't waste your money on the cheaper mirrors, as you'll just wind up with these in the long run.Read full review

I've tried other mirrors that did not provide the proper rear/side vision. This mirror is well made, easy to install, and gets the job done. No vibration, no movement. I love it!

I bought these for the bike I ride on the street along side the crazy car drivers. They were very easy to install and to adjust. I like the wide field of vision. It doesn't specify in the instructions but these can also be installed without the middle section for a shorter stubbier mirror. Very good quality. Highly recommend if you're riding in traffic.

Mirrycle makes an awesome bike mirror. The first one I owned was for my previous road bike that mounted on my older shifters, worked great. My current bike has a Bontrager Iso handlebar and they make a specific mirror for it, works great. i bought the mountain mirror for a buddy. Same great quality, installs and works great. I have actually already moved my buddy's mirror to a new bike he bought. Again, works great. Highly recommended.

I have had this model of rear view mirror on my Schwinn Sierra mountain bike for years and have loved it. I had to buy another because I tipped the bike over on pavement recently. The mirror frame was still intact but the glass was broken. I still got more than 20 years of service out of the mirror. My riding is mostly on the street. For that, I won't be without a quality mirror. For trail riding it is easily reset if knocked out of alignment. By keeping the hardware snug but not super tight, the reset can usually be done without tools. Too many other mirrors are flimsy and fragile. Some vibrate badly when traveling a slightly rough surface. This mirror gives a clear picture of what is behind the rider at all times in all conditions that I have experienced.

This is a great mirror. It is fully adjustable was easy to install. If you have normal manual skills you should have no difficulty with the tight bolt tolerances. The installation tool included with the mirror worked perfectly. The only thing a little tricky was to remove the end of the rubber handle bar grip to allow access to the inside of the handle bar tube, but a 3/4 inch wood bore and cordless drill made the task quick and easy.
