Works, but could be better designed
It is supposed to be an OEM product, but my Samsung phone does not "like" it. The housing for the connector at the charging end is weak. It comes unsnapped often, which makes the connection weak and the phone senses that it is not an OEM Samsung charger. It charges very slowly compared to other chargers, despite it being OEM. Not a Samsung Orginal Equipment .
It is avertised as OEM which to me means its the exact orginal that comes with your newly purchased phone. What I received is constructed differently than what I received when I bought my S4. A sub-optimal fake which is only capable of charging your phone at a very low speed and the charger itself gets so hot I'm concerned it might burn the house down. Minor issue with Galaxy S5.

Bought this to solve the slow charging issue I was having with my phone as a result of not using an official Samsung charger. Unfortunately, nothing changed. Just like a regular, third-party charger, this one also resulted in an error message and slow charging. Charges slowly
Supposed to be an oem charger. It is stamped with the orig. model number and even says its 5.0 volts at 2.0 amp hrs. But when I plug it in, my phone even says its a slow charger and to use the orig. charger for a faster charge!
