If you're looking for a go-to book on prayer, there are others out there. If you're looking for a thoughtful, deep exploration of what prayer may be, this is the book for you. This is not a fast or an easy read, but a very meaningful and sometimes uncomfortable conversation between author and reader. This is the best book on prayer I have ever read.
