The Motoz Xtreme Hybrid tire is like a Mountain Hybrid, but with a more aggressive tread for extreme conditions and a serious straight line drive for those soft hill climbs and muddy bogs. It has traction characteristics of a trials tire, with the dimensions of a serious off-road enduro tire to maintain the bike's handling characteristics. This dual sport tire climbs like a trials tire, but is much better in mud, sand, and a wide variety of technical single track terrain. Constructed like a trials tire, but with reinforced sidewalls to allow lower inflation pressure when riding in extreme off-road conditions.

It is what it is. It is not a knobby. Great compromise.
If you ride 50/50 street/dirt, this tire is great compromise tire. It is great on street , sand covered street or rock, and gravel roads. It is terrible in soft deep sand. When I used this on a MX track, it was marginal and heavy, but it hooked up in loamy corners enough to get enough traction to clear jumps. You need good throttle control, because it will loose traction quickly of you spin it at all. If you want great off road traction, get a full knobby or you will not like this tire. If you want an off-road tire that won’t wear out in a few hundred miles of street riding, this is your tire.
