Good lube, though priced for cheeseheads with $$$!
BMW advantec 5w40 is a great (though HUGELY OVER PRICED given global oil prices and that it's a gas fracked product). This said the FrankenOil is something that performs well, produces better transmission operation. CAVEAT it doesn't suspend reality and will NOT let you go over a year/6000 miles between oil changes. This is the kit you need for your wet head R1200GS
If changing oil on the new wet head R1200GS/GSA, be sure to do 3 liters, run the engine a for a minute, shut it off, let the oil settle to the bottom and apply the remaining oil slowly which comes to about 3.8 Liters...NOT QUARTS. There is a oil level looking glass on the right hand side, you want the oil level half way on the red circle. This is all conducted with the bike on center stand or level. So you should have a dab of oil left in your 4th liter of oil. The engine oil valve cap can be loosened using your screw driver handle that is underneath your seat since it has a unique pattern.
