These MG90S servos arrived promptly and seemed to be a good product as compared to other servos of it's type that I have used. I did not need them right away, so it was a couple weeks before I put them to use. They did work fine with my servo tester and centered well. An issue arose when I plugged them into my Orange receiver and they did not work. Swapping channels did not work either. I change to a different brand servo and the receiver performed flawless. Changing the receiver to a Spektrum brand unit the servos worked as they should. I found this intriguing and have since checked the servos on an array of receivers that I have on hand and found that they will not work for some reason on the Orange brand which I have 3 of. Maybe you could check into that. I have been flying the servos with no other problem and they do perform as expected..Read full review

I started using these for non-critical movement for things like camera gimbals and nose wheel steering on RC airplanes/drones. Now, I use them all over the place even for primary control surfaces. I put one strait into the ground the other day because it was not responsive on the roll axis, so taking everything apart and checking the Pixhawk logs everything looked to be fine. It turned out that I stripped a control horn. Which was my fault, because I used a different brands control horn, but checking the servo it was working just fine. That actually impressed me that the servos would strip a control horn before stripping a gear. I ordered these 4 just to have on hand. LOVE THEM

This micro servo work out great for my model lowrider. Small enough to fit in its chassis and enough power also. Also used in my toy rc crawler. Upgraded to this for better steering. Will order more when needed

I think the MG90S' have the best performance/durability to price ratio. Being a beginner pilot, I subject my aircraft to violent maneuvers that often result hard landings (a euphemism for crashes). These metal gear servos have lasted much longer than the plastic geared ones.
