Dan Harrington is the man! His books are great, and very informative.
I highly recommend reading as many of these books as possible. I have the 3 volumes of tournaments books, and am waiting on the 2 cash game books to arrive. I have typically played tournament poker for most of my "Career", but have recently began playing micro/low stakes cash mostly online. Although the state of poker has changed quite a bit since this book was published, I have found that the majority of the information still applies. If you apply the strategies and techniques taught, you will definitely improve your game. These books can be picked up super cheap used, but I feel they are worth the full retail price for a new copy. I personally buy used books most of the time, just because I don't mind a little wear usuallly in exchange for big savings. Read Volume 1,2, and then this book.
