I Like the length because it fits in my 5ft 6in truck bed. Has an adjustable leg for uneven ground surfaces. Holds long materials reasonably well. Very easy to set up. Has a very small storage footprint. The only thing I am a bit disappointed in is the width of the roller and support rail. Unlike DeWalt, wider supports are available. So, until the time they ever become available, I think I will adapt my DeWalt wider supports to the Makita stand. Overall, a good stand for the price!

The one I bought arrived damaged so I didn’t have a chance to actually use it. I’ve owned a stand made by Dewalt for years. It was indestructible except for the brackets that attach the saw to the stand itself. I like the design of the brackets on the Makita much better. The rubber feet on Dewalt’s don’t last long and are expensive. I replaced them with tennis balls. The feet on the Makita appear to be more substantial. The wheels on the Makita will only be useful on smooth surfaces. They’re small. It’s a good design. I plan to purchase another.

I’m a general contractor and have been in business for more than 25 years and have been using Makita products since I started! They are the best quality and longest lasting tools and equipment that I have used in my experience! I wouldn’t buy anything else!

The indeed roller does not line up with the saw table on a 12 inch saw also the extension arms have too much flex to them.
