I found this book to be very helpful. I took one practice test not having reviewed anything. After reading the book and competing all the practice questions I re-took a practice test with better results. After a few more practice tests I was at the point where I was comfortable. I found that I had improved 100 points over my initial test. I am very satisfied with my official scores as well and believe this book is a part of my success. The only thing, I would have liked to have known the difficulty level of the questions so I could figure out which "level" I was getting right the majority of the time.
Includes practice exam questions and strategies to improve each section of your test score. Walks you through question types and how to break questions down in order to answer them as quickly as possible. Also, includes a very detailed math review (in an appendix) which I found extremely helpful and the accompanying CD has computerized practice exams to mimic the actual test.
This book provided terrific strategies on how to approach the GMAT. Score improved from 630 to 690 after taking practice tests. I believe that this is the same book at the 2006 Edition though.
