Wow - the cost was 1/2 the price my local gun shop offered it for and it took me less than 15 minutes to install and sight in. Great addition to my .40 S&W Shield.
Amazing design! It goes on easy once I figured out the positioning. Once installed it looks and feels like it was factory built in. I had a holster that fit my now very thick barrel perfectly. I even got a big rebate for buying it. It was far better than I'd hoped for. Fit and finish is flawless on my new S&W M&P Shield.

Hell yeeeeeh

Several Guns and many Lasers but this one is best
But none as good as this one for the cost. Fits terrific on the shield as well as good battery life. Most adaptable fit lasers are twice the price so I was worried about quality yet am blown away. My shield is everyday carry and the laser is kept on the gun inside backpack with lots of abuse but works great. Makes a great gun even better! Look like it came installed from manufacturer
I chose the laser max over the Crimson trace laser because I like that it doesn't interfere with the grip. This laser looks like it was factory installed by the manufacturer. It doesn't look like an add on. I also like the side button over the grip button because it gives you the choice on if you want to use it or not. Go green to see it in the daylight!
I made the mistake of not going green... Lasermax guiderod laser sites are the BEST laser sites bar none. I use them on several of my handguns. the benefits are the beam is directly inline with the bore of the barrel, and closer to the center of the bore than the sights are. But as I stated I screwed up and cheaped out and bought the red lasers instead of the green, although a couple of the guns had the sites installed prior to green lasers being available. The green laser beam is visible in full daylight, The red is not. I am not talking about the dot either I mean the actual beam. further the red dot is lost in daylight as well, Another benefit of laser sites is you dont need to worry about eye/site alignment. this is a major point if you suffer shaking hands for what ever the reason. A high hand hold puts tension on the wrists increasing shakes. Dropping the hands below the eyes reduces tension on the tendons in the biceps and the forearms through the wrists, reducing the physical tension in the arms through the wrists relaxing the tension in the hands, allowing for a more accurate shot dur to the laser site. The hardest thing to deal with is the batteries. ive tried the heat shrunk packs from Lasermax and individual batteries from the local watch shop. the individual batteries last longer, Remembering when to change them is the biggest issue, so set the date in the calendar app on your cell and your computer...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Arrived 1 day early. Fit my wifes S&W M&P Shield 9mm perfectly. Instillation was a snap. Needed very little adjusting. Easy on/off push button on each side. She loves it.
