Great 2.5G and 5G networks.
I bought this to replace an old Belkin N150 router and this beats it by far. My capped speed on the N150 was about 42-43MBPS, on this router, it's 66MBPS. That's actually more than I'm suppose to be getting (60MBPS Connection). It has pretty good coverage of a three room house and I see no lag with three streaming devices and one online game going. Good router for a dorm room, apartment, or very small house.
I purchased this router in order to save the $$$ I was giving my ISP in rent of one. After a few weeks of usage, I have determined there is good and bad with it. The good: It does a great job for what it was designed for. It produces a good, two band, wifi signal within a small area. It will produce a strong 5-bar signal in whatever room it is located. The bad: The signal, even where it can travel unimpeded, degrades rapidly. For anything more than a very small house or apartment, I would recommend also acquiring a wifi repeater. It is hard to beat for the price for average home trying to cover 2000sqft or less. My daughter and son in law love it. The use phones, computers, Xbox, PlayStation, Hulu, and many other sites and devices all at the same time. They actually burned out the previous routers wifi portion loading it so much constantly.
