Fast, Cheap, and Easy
Iv been in the market for a "portable" practice basket and this one has the best features for the price. In my opinion it is better practice then the small collapsible carry targets being that it is of the standard size. Has a very satisfying sound when a disk makes contact. Not the most even or level when set up, construction is strong and solid, just not the most square. Was cheaper then buying just the chain to make my own basket target. Still large and bulky when disassembled but yes, can be portable. Not the kind of portable like take on a plane but the kind of portable to fit in the trunk of a small car. Great practice basket for the money
I was warned by other players not to cheap out on a practice basket. The whole purpose is to develop accuracy and confidence in your game. A basket that has lots of spit outs doesn't help you. This basket is a great balance of light and sturdy. Goes together in literally a couple of minutes. Good quality chains makes it feel like any game basket. Comes with stakes to hold it down but its perfectly stable on concrete without. It's a little noisy, but nothing some strategically placed tape and foam can't fix. It weighs about 35 pounds so it is fairly easy to carry and it can be broken down to put in the car in 30 seconds. Worth It.
I've been looking for a basket for a long time, I didn't want a flimsy portable basket, I wanted something that replicates the real thing. This basket is exactly what I wanted, I like how it all screws together and has enough weight so it won't wobble. Chains feel like they do at my local courses, if a shot bounces off the chains of this basket then it would have bounced out of any basket. It's also heavier than I thought it would be, this is more of a benefit for me because I'll ever lug this thing very far. The only issue I see is the basket itself is the least heavy duty part of the entire assembly, I doubt it will every break from normal use. If you miss low this thing will vibrate for a few seconds. I don't see it breaking unless someone puts their full weight on top of it but a little extra support could have gone a long ways. Otherwise, it's a great basket for around the yard. Great basket for practice or play
Very well constructed basket would be great for temporary or semi - permanent use. Solid construction, nice weight chains, and sturdy base. Only improvement i would make is the addition of wheels to allow for easier relocation (i live in an apt) as the sturdy construction makes this baasket fairly heavy.
