  • A must for new parents

I believe that this book is a must have for any parent of a young child. It does a great job of letting parents know what to expect in their child's development from birth to age 3. It also contains many suggestions on how to encourage a child's development at different stages. I especially like the information on best toys at different stages, and how children outgrow toys that no longer interest them because the child's development changes what s/he is interested in. This is also a good book for grandparents.
