Great book full of adventure and intrigue
Elizabeth peters “Amelia Peabody” series is a great escape. The stories are full of adventure and intrigue and transport you to the early century, romantic era of pyramid treasure hunting. The books offer a captivating story at a good pace, long enough to be worth it without becoming monotonous and boring. I have owned and read all of Amelia’s antics and bought this one for a niece having trouble finding good reads without insult to her senses in todays market.
