At the time of the writing, this is hands down the best Chromebook on the market and I'm extremely happy with it.
One of my favorite laptops I've ever owned, the battery life is incredible, the build quality is every bit as good as business class laptops two to three times as much in cost. Chromebooks have gotten so good that I can do everything I need to while I'm on the road and have been very happy with the general experience. I'm getting an average of 8-10 hours of battery life depending on type of usage. The touchscreen is covered by antimicrobial Gorilla Glass which is pleasant, the glass touch pad has a nice premium feel to it, and the keyboard is extremely comfortable to type on as laptop keyboards go. The display is bright and sharp, there is a 4K display version of this for considerably more money but I honestly don't think it's necessary because this is a really nice 1080p panel and at this display size you eventually get diminishing returns. A 2K display would be nice to have, but honestly I don't feel like it's something I would pay more for because the display in this laptop is really darn good. I highly recommend this device to anyone in the market for a Chromebook. In my opinion this is the best Chromebook on the market at the time of this writing, there are a couple that are even more premium but the price tag on them is at minimum twice what this one is and they aren't anywhere near twice as good. Luxury updates for a simple to use Chromebook
This is an upgrade for me. I've owned smaller Chromebooks and they were great for what I needed them to do at the time.
