Sony CRE-C10:This is one of the few real hearing aids (not just amplifiers) that you can buy without registering with the manufacturers and still download and use the on-line set up and optimizing software. This product had a positive review by Wirecutter (NY Times) and the price is far lower than the competition. Sony is not actually the manufacturer of the product . As you will find on the web site, it is manufactured by a hearing aid company that makes about 5 other brands My experience has been very good. Better than other hearing aids I have used in the past.
