Synopsis-Contents-From Our Sholiach1Book of Watchers1Book of Parables10Book of Astronomy21Book of Visions27Glossary41From Our Sholiach: The Book of Enoch-Chanok was rediscovered in Ethiopia by an Irish clergyman around 1773, and translated in the 1840's. Among the Dead Sea Scrolls were a number of manuscripts of the Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, including ten manuscripts of the Book of Enoch-Chanok in the original Aramaic (until then copies were extant only in an Ethiopic translation of a Greek translation of a Semitic original), which were vital to answering many questions about its origins. Dating of the DSS manuscripts by their script shows that certain parts of Enoch-Chanok are at least as old as the third century BCE. The Book of Enoch-Chanok's importance is that passages from the book were quoted extensively in Scripture by Isaiah, David, Jude, Peter and others, making the accounts verified as emet with many witnesses. Adon-Yahushua the Savior quoted from it directly or thematically over 100 times in the New Covenant; and as Creator and Savior HWHY knew its authenticity, whether Enoch-Chanok himself or someone else actually compiled it. The teachings were accurate and considered as the WORD OF HWHY by our Savior and His first century talimidim-disciples! That is beyond dispute! The Book of Enoch-Chanok details the fall and the names of the fallen angels, the secrets of fallen Naphaleem, the correct solar priestly calendar of Moses and many other mysteries of our ahvot! It answers these secrets: What happened in the beginning and what was the result of the fallen angels? Where are they now; and what will happen to them in the future? What are the actual names and ranks of the demons that were thrown out of heaven? Enoch-Chanok clearly sees the eternal Son of Elohim and reveals Yahushua upon His kesay, as eternal HWHY from eternity past, like no other prophet. He introduces all generations to key concepts like the Father and Son of Man both being YHWH in One Unity before the world began!Enoch is quoted directly by the prophet Daniel in chapter 7:13-14, as he sees Yahushua in the same kind of night vision as did Enoch. Daniel calls him Bar Enosh in Aramaic, as does Enoch based on the Qumran Scrolls. The Book of Chanok-Enoch was considered as Scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas (16:4) and by many of the early Church Fathers, such as Athenagoras, Clement of Alexandria, Irenaeus and Tertullian, who wrote circa 200 AD, that the Book of Enoch had been rejected by the Jews because it contained prophecies pertaining to Messiah Yahushua. However, later apostate ahvot denied the canonicity of the book and some even considered the letter of Jude "uncanonical" because it refers to an "apocryphal" work.By the 4th century CE, the Book of Chanok-Enoch was mostly excluded from Christian and Jewish "canons" and it is now regarded as Scripture by only the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, the Eritrean Orthodox Church, as well as Nazarene Yisraelites of diverse backgrounds.-Chapters have been rearranged to make the concepts easier to grasp.** We do not consider 2nd or 3rd Enoch as valid and thus only 1st Enoch appears.***YHUH's Name appears in Paleo Hebrew!**** Other fabulous historical references about Enoch are recorded in Sefer Yahshar-Jasher, also available now from YATI in a separate book. Please see chapter 3 in Sefer Yahshar.***** Comments in italics! Modern English has been restored!Underlined texts indicates important points.
