This review is for a new, unbranded aftermarket unit
The mirror that I bought is an unbranded aftermarket unit. Condition: new Features: Power mirror, round plug, driver's side Despite being new, the plastic around the hinged area isn't tough and is susceptible to cracking, so packaging is critical. The mirror lens were fine. I gave it three out of five stars due to how critical the shipping and packaging is to determine customer satisfaction for such a unit. If you believe the packaging is subpar, inspect all the black plastic in a well-lit area; empty the box it came from, remove all packing material to see if there are any broken bits that you may have missed. I tried to save mine by taking it apart and recobble it with another one. I couldn't get to the damaged areas. Then I got carried away tightening the inner torsion bars behind the mirror lenses and completely broke the metal frame housing. A $94+ hard lesson. I saved the mirror lenses, though. Hopefully they'll work with OE Ford units. Fingers crossed.
