Tom Selleck and Robert B. Parker give us the moody, taciturn and very intelligent and likeable Paradise Police Chief, Jesse Stone. This is another success in the series which I wish was a long running tv series, but which is presented in about 10 (so far) made-for-tv movies. Other memorable characters are Suitcase and Rose.
