Adequate at Best
The We R Memory Keepers battery-powered (cordless) Freestyle Foil Quill Pen is an adequate tool when writing on foil (compatible with specific foil only). One needs to press a little hard unlike a pen and the standard tip is still not ‘bold’ enough to read except when using background cardstock that’s either black or very dark (such as deep blue). The writing stands out if you write equally slow and deliberate for every word or letter that you make. A magnetic mat with magnetic strips is a must to hold down the foil at all sides, this way you’ll have it easier to concentrate on the writing at hand and not worry about the foil scrunching up. If used accordingly, it is an adequate foil writing tool.
