I bought this to replace my one-cup Keurig. I stopped drinking coffee, and started drinking hi-caffiene tea instead. The Keurig didn't get the water hot enough to steep my tea. Aside from that, I needed the extra boiling water for my instant oatmeal, etc. I find this little Toastmaster to be perfect for my needs. It boils water very quickly and makes enough for me to fix my tea and oatmeal in one cycle. It's perfect for my needs and the price was great. I didn't expect it to work so well for what I paid.

This was bought to replace one that I liked a lot and it is up to the task! Heats quickly and so happy with the auto shutoff, the style and the lid opener. I also like the large lighted on/off switch - easy to see as I hustle around the kitchen. Only problem I found is the switch so close to the bottom - was turned on by mistake by cord of another appliance when moved.

If you want to warm up water in a kettle that is electric and convenient this is your ticket!! I am so grateful to have bought this product. It is cool to the touch , easy to hold with many precautions to keep someone from getting burnt. This is not glass. It is more like plastic and acrylic...its very durable and this is my backup to another that was glass...that one you can get burnt if you touch and it is very fragile to breaking. Thank you for a super kettle that more than does the work without having to illuminate an entire stove.
