  • Poetic and Magical

I visited Guatemala and Lake Atitlan about the same time as Martin in the early 80s. It was a life changing experience, seeing the last of a thousands of years old culture and it's clash with the devastingly brutal military and political oppression. Martin captures this time, with an villagers insider view that is poetic and Magical and takes me deeper into what has been lost in modernity's relentless tyranny. Hopefully some of the seeds he plants through his eloquence will sprout and flower, renewing the beauty of our world
