Simple but effective.
The apu itself was easy to install but the included fan was a struggle. Finding the right balance so all four screws connect is very difficult. The thermal paste that comes pre applied can become a mess. Once the installation is done, everything runs smoothly and the settings can be accessed through the motherboard bios. AMD Ryzen 5 2400G...its an APU.
4 cores/8 threads CPU with integrated graphics...it works. Good integrated graphics
If you want integrated graphics, this is the chip to get (Q4 2018). Good enough for light gaming, esp. with fast RAM (3000+). CPU is pretty decent, and cheaper than equivalent performing Intel chip. nice and fast
This was a build for my wife, ( ryzen 5 2400g, msiTomahawk, corsair RAM8g, thermaltake 650, ssd 120, and a 1tb wd black hdd and win10 64) It screams!! My wife wont let me play with it, so I'm building another for me. Would have given 5 stars but too much thermal paste on stock wraith cooler, and the branding tab sticks out too far.

Best value CPU
If you are looking to build a basic computer with good processing performance and the ability to play a game here and there, the 2400G blows the competition out of the water. The CPU performance is very comparable to other processors in this price range and the Vega 11 graphics perform nearly as well as a low-end dedicated GPU. Was kinda of skeptical of buying integrated Graphics card on cpu. But AMD knocked it out of the ball park with RYZEN series. great value for the high performance.
