  • Time to go back to the drawing board, an 80 year old engineer could fix this for you in 5 minutes

Poor engineering. They have the spring rate figured out, they have the wire diameter figured out, and it does give an instant 2 inch drop. After 1000 miles you will have a 3 inch drop. Poorly engineered, they need to wind these at the same exact free height as the stock springs, indeed the initial drop would probably only be 1 inch, but after a 1000 miles it would settle down to the intended 2 inch drop. Once you drop these Obama cars 3 inches the front struts continually bottom out and then knock out the top seals, you then loose the shock fluid, you then have junk struts, Plan on buying new struts every year, because after one year my new struts were both junk the last time. If these were a true 2 inch drop this would't be a problem, at 3 inches you can drive on smooth roads only.

  • Not bad for 87$

Nice drop . Springs are not the same length as oem so you have to be extra careful to make sure everything is lined up when you take it of the jack . The rears will literally fall out if you don’t hold them in place as you settle the car down of the jack . But for being broke I’ll deal with that . Ride is stiff and that’s how I like it. Not overly bouncy . Just stiff .

  • Great springs if your on a budget

installed these springs on my 05 cobalt, the car looks good with the lowered stance and definitely handles better, my only complaint is that the springs fit loosely and as a result make a lot of noise when i hit a bump, but other then that i really like them.

  • Kitty cornering cobalt

It took a couple of weeks to settle in but with new shocks and struts the suspension is excellent I have 2008 g5 gt with stock new suspension and this is much better the lowering is minimal in comparison to my gt but the handling is much better and not as stiff as gt great job!on calibration of ride and I'm no spring chicken 65 yrs old and I enjoy it very happy with the set up. I highly recommend it if u want more stability and safer ride it's worth the change I was a mechanic I did it myself very easy what a shop charge is I don't know but worth the change if you keep the car for awhile thanks again. • 08 Cobalt LT

Installed the springs on my 08 LT model... makes the car sit a lot better and rides better in freeway. It’s also better in turns due to it being stiffer than the factory springs. Very easy installation as well with proper tools it takes less than an hour!

  • Lowering Springs

Installed on an 06 LS 4cyl asphalt mini stock. Lower the car 2+ inches front and back. Wish the fronts were just a little shorter. Car sits level now, but FWD cars need a little "rake" for traction. Stiffer than factory which was what I was looking for. Easy installation with the proper tools. Looking forward to hitting the track with them as we are in the off season now.
