    Handy little sucker

    The tool is easy to use and very versatile. It fits in places that normal floor tools won't and picks up very well. There are three small holes in the backside of the tool which use I don't know but I put a piece of tape over them to increase the suction at the head.

    Hard Floor attachment fits Dyson DC23 Turbinehead

    My vacuum came with a carpet attachment (on wheels) that could be used on hard floors without the rotating brush feature. I have engineered wood floors and wanted a brush attachment to avoid noisy wheels and possible scratching. Dyson attachments are NOT universal with other vacuums (Kenmore etc) or other Dysons necessarily. I had to buy Dyson brand attachment for my exact model so it would fit wand. All Dyson after-market attachments are REALLY pricey but this one was priced at $44 and slightly better than full retail. I had trouble parting with $$ but now glad I have it.

    Helps minimize Dyson shortcomings.

    This solved the problem of possibly scratching the hardwoods with our hard plastic Dyson. You can also access under furniture now as the head articulates. The fitting matches with her metric sized nozzle and has a reducer for another size. Overall the wife loves it.

    Won't fit DC 50

    I thought this would fit on the head of my DC50. It won't. Even with the adapter it won't take the place of the DC50 upright head for hard floors. Otherwise the tool itself it nice...
