It's seems to be of good construction, and didn't have trouble with assembling it, as some had mentioned. It is to short for my 54" pool, I would have to cut quite a bit off the handles where it attaches to the deck or it won't reach the bottom. Haven't yet installed it considering returning it

Great pool ladder
Bought this ladder when our old original Dougboy ladder cracked. I couldn’t find one in the uk for the right price and spec, so ordered this from the USA and even with import duty and shipping it still came in cheaper than anything in the UK if you can find one. These type of ladders are suited to above ground pool with decking around and is supplied with deck sockets (plastic). I used my stainless ones and I’m impressed with the ladders sturdiness. Assembly was easy and instructions are sufficient. It would benefit from having stainless nyloc nuts instead of plain stainless nuts as supplied. So to sum up…it looks good and feels right all at a reasonable cost. Recommended

Steps
Didn’t like the bottom step not attached to the stairs. Didn’t like having to drill a 1 1/2” hole in my deck for the rails.
