This DIY kit is awesome! In full power mode, wot and pedalling in top gear, the front end starts to come up. Has the power it says it have and actually goes faster when pedalling with the motor. Would recommend this kit to anyone. Thank you! Also, with any DIY kit, be aware this is a process of modifying a bike with something it doesnt normally have. You have to be creative. Also, make sure you buy extra washers and zip ties as wire routing can get messy. Recommend using this with the clicker style gears, disk brakes, and reed switches for brakes. Youre going to want to have the stopping power because this kit adds 50-80 lbs and rim brakes will not cut it!!! Reed switches will give you a better result with the clicker type shifters, especially since the shifters are normally built into the brakes. This wont work very well with the twist grip shifters since the display will get in the way. Also, i put this on a 700c bike for the narrow tires and the rim is 26 in. I got a street tire for the rear to reduce rolling resistance. It looks a bit weird but it works great. This does slightly reduce the pedal clearance from the ground so use caution. Lastly, i recommend starting from a new bike, as the older style bikes are harder to work with as they have began wearing out and clearances may be different. I used a shwinn that i got from walmart on black friday for 118$. It came with disk brakes, was super light, and did require additional spacing on the rear. Be careful not to bend aluminum frames too much as they can brake. I added a couple extra washers between the rear frame to get the clearance i needed. It works perfectly. Again, use your creativity and this will be a great buy!Read full review

I love my 1500 watt ebike ! Wow what a impressive piece of equipment . Put together and had loads of fun , traveling all through Denver Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. Man does it have power . I wore the first tire off in 30 days , but I made a bad decision to not install a torque arm during my installation. That decision came back and bit me . my rear wheel came off my bike and twisted and broke my wiring going into the hub . it was Really my fault and it was past the 30 day return . but I talked to the company anyway , and they helped me thanks to Zoey. So I am back on the road again , if our blizzard ever stops and I can find some dry pavement . thanks again allinone . you have a Customer for life

Relative easy to assemble. Need a substancial frame. The manual could be more detailed, i.e., tire pressures, probable speed, etc. The throttle handle lighted panel is UNEXPLAINED. The headlight and taillight I purchased had to be modified to accommodate the control panel wiring. The control bag lettering was upside down and the straps were backwards.

Here is what I wish I had known before purchasing this kit. 1. The motor is a standard 9C hub motor with disc brake and freewheel attachements. 2. The motor is laced into a double wall aluminum rim that is pretty thin but of decent quality. 3. The 1500W motor controller is a 15 FET model with 7.1mOhm / 100V /300 watt FET's. It's capable of living up to 1500 watts but isn't as overbuilt as some. The circuit board it self is surprisingly clean and well labeled (in english). You'd almost believe it was made in a US fab house. I can't tell if it has regen braking it's not labeled if it does have it. 4. Included with the kit is a manual that someone CLEARLY went to a lot of effort to produce. Ultimately it's still in broken english, but it's not for a lack of trying. It's certainly useable though. 5. Not pictured, but also included is a small bag intended for mounting the controller behind your bike seat. I don't think i'll use it for that purpose, but it's a nice inclusion. Overall, for the money this is pretty hard to beat. I think I got more than I paid for.Read full review

This has worked perfectly for the few months that I have had it. I now have almost 1500 miles on this kit. You really need to be a Do It Yourselfer kind of person to get this working well. Pick a good donor bike and it will be fairly easy. I did not and had a few mods to do. I did not use the included brakes which don't fit my bike and I didn't want to use it anyway. I tried the pedal assist but was not happy with it with the way it works. The throttle works best but it seems to be the weak point. I ended up replacing it with a thumb throttle and it works much smoother. You can hear the motor running but it is quiet and fast. I took it to a smooth down hill road and hit 45 MPH using the full 1500 watt setting. Installing a switch to just use the 750 watt output makes the battery last way longer. This is a fun weekend project to do. This kit is working much better than I had anticipated. I have no regrets buying this one. No more pedaling uphill :)Read full review
