SynopsisWhy would a man with no known history of violent crime or mental illness, with a pretty wife about to give birth to his son, brutally murder her? Keith Ablow takes readers inside the psyche of killer Scott Peterson, and examines not what Peterson did, but why he did it.
Very good analysis of what went on in the Peterson families. Well structured and easy to follow. On an emotional lever a bit frustrating, as it was a situation very close to impossible to prevent or change. Scott's mother's dad was murdered. At a very young age the mother was sent off to a grim orphanage where a personality twist allowed her to survive. Her behavior as a mother led to Scott's twisted life attitude.
But how could all of this have been prevented?
Likewise, Lacy's decision to live her dream, which was seriously a selfish choice, was against Scott's wishes but she did it anyway, at her peril.
