Vintage, Used but works excellent :-)

This printers paper sticks every time you print a sheet of paper and I have to pull on it to get it to stop. It also says come with free ink, but the black ink cartridge is almost gone and prints with the color cartridge and is blue. I looked to be in pretty good shape on the outside just sticking on the inside. I only bought this because I already had two more ink cartridges to use in it, Which is a good thing since the black is gone, and the cost was the same as buying new ink.

I purchased this all in one printer, copier, scanner only because I needed a copier that was small and one that would not take up much space on my desk and that was easy to use. This particular model HP PSC 1315 fit the bill. Small, compact, easy to use, and the price was right. It was a used model and the printer and copier functions worked to my satisfaction with good quality on both the copy and print functions. For the budget minded this would be a great buy. It does everything I want it to do.
The HP PSC 13xx line of inkjet All-in-one is a good choice for small offices and home use. The inkjet printer is quiet, fast and possess many printing options such as 5 quality settings (draft to maximum) and multiple pages on one page / one page on multiple pages. Like all the HP products I used in the past, the ink rarely dries out in the cartrige. I could go without printing for 3 months at a time and never had problems with dried ink. As for the scanner, quality is good on Windows 2000, but is better on Windows XP (they probably changed somethink in the drivers). Preview is fairly fast and color depth is more than sufficient. As a copier, the PSC 1315 offers a fast way of duplicating any documents, even color ones in the blink of an eye. I didn't use the direct photo transfer function as such. Negative point: As for other HP products, the price of ink cartridges is expensive. But at least, the print heads are included in the ink cartridges. The other negative point is that HP All-in-one products tend to use much memory and CPU speed, constantly. On a 2 GHz system, this don't make a difference, but on a 500 MHz system, it slows down the system by about 20%. As for the physical presentation, the PSC 1315 is a very compact device abd fairly robust. In resume, I recommand the HP PSC 1315 as a good quality printer/scanner for cramped spaces an occasional use.Read full review
We already have one of these printers so thought it would be easier to add a second for our cabin (so don't have to worry about purchasing different types of ink cartridges). It's a GREAT little copier, printer, scanner for routine text and color pictures. (NOT high quality photo printing, so if that's what you're wanting, look for a pricier model...BUT MORE THAN ADEQUATE for home/school use. This was a GREAT BUY on EBAY!
