For under $35, This printer was easy to setup and it works. Just needed a new ink cartridge to print.

Ordered printer on Feb 5th. Received on Mar 18th. Printer did not have print cartridge(a $50 item). Cartridge lock mechanism broken. Might be able to repair using parts from old printer. I am disappointed with this purchase.

99% of things I print are throwaway, e.g online map-directions to get to places for journeys, quick text-only letters to companies, posting lists of things to people not online. My main printer is far too expensive on ink to use for anything other than the occasional photograph, but this Canon is great with regard to its cheap ink and small footprint. Print quality is pretty awful to be honest in anything other than typewriter-mode for letters, but who cares? Far more day-to-day useful than my main / expensive printer. Of course since it's so cheap, they stopped making it, and even when they did, hardly any shop would sell it because of the razor-thin margins. Sad, this is exactly the kind of printer I want more of, not the overpriced stuff with built in fax / scanner / bottom-scratcher etc Grab one if you get the chance.Read full review
The price was exceptionally low at the eBay auction because there was little interest in the product. I have a larger Canon printer at my main home (this was for the vacation cottage) and it is very reliable. I assume the BJC-2110 will be similar, although I have only recently had a chance to use it. I like the small size, much smaller than any other printer I have had. The list price for ink is very high, although some is available at low prices on eBay. The manual indicates the ink should be replaced every six months, which is a distinct disadvantage.
I thought this particular item was priced about three times the going rate, but this model inkjet printer is becoming increasingly scarce and I HAD to have the printer right away for university courses. I was fortunate to find a model that was brand-new, sealed, in the original box. So actually, it was worth the $$$. I LOVE the Canon BJC 2110 bubble jet printer! It is simple and easy to operate. No complicated features. Just keeps on going. The unit is very compact and fits in a small place. I have now figured out how to change print heads as well as ink cartridges and have located a fast, reliable ink cartridge supplier (so the scarcity of this model is NOT a problem!). I have used this model printer with my IBM Thinkpad laptop as my "home office computer" in my den for almost ten years now. Whenever I finally wear out each printer (I've gone through about four now).... rather than try to work with a new model printer, I just go to eBay and search out a Canon BJC 2110 and get one. Ususally in $30-40. price range. Easy to integrate with my IBM... the computer "never knows" a replacement one has been put in place. I have about 3 "spares" in my garage now. Thank you for the opportunity to talk about this model printer; it is a reliable little work horse! Very good value for the money !Read full review
