On this Battletoads/Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team (Sega Genesis; 1993), there are seven levels and everything that moves it must be fight and kicked. At the end of each level there is a boss to deal with before getting to the next levels. When playing with the option two players, if one of the character loses all lives and want to continue the game, will force the other player to start all over again. The players can choose from five selectable characters like Billy and Jimmy Lee, Zitz, Rash and Pimple.

Decent and fun 90s beat'em up!
I really enjoyed playing Battle toads and Double Dragon! The side scrolling, beat 'em up action is fun and engaging. The graphics aren't the best, but the game runs smoothly and everything looks nice. I have to admit that I like TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist way better, but Battle toads and Double Dragon is a decent brawler, too. It's harder than TMNT, but way more violent overall. There's no blood or guts, but you're punching foes out into space, grabbing their hair and pummeling them or stomping them through the floors! If you like 90s brawlers, you'll find yourself right at home here.
