I bought the book because of the signature. Ms Oates has done everything to do in her world of being a published Author, Teacher, Critic, Judge of Literature, has sat on numerous panels, etc. She has won many awards but a few have escaped her such as being a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize but not a winner, and the Nobel Prize. There is a push for the Nobel before she retires or expires. Join in send an email to any college Professor for them to please join this push and nominate Joyce Carol Oates.
