Excellent read
Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. You could feel this young soldier grow into a determined rifleman, in every battle he was involved with. You could feel also how Russia had changed him, from shy to a self desiplined front line fighter for the Reich. You really noticed that change once he fought on the western front. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone.
