Well the upside to GRAW: Better gameplay than previous GR titles. Good weapons, nice HUD. Ability to heal and resupply during mission. Good warfighting features. The downside: Only one team member at your side instead of two. Good gamemodes cut out; firefight, recon, defend. Only missions are allowed to be played in single-player mode, only adversary allowed in multi-player mode (offline, not on XBL). Hard aiming, impossibly long time to reload, campaign WAY too short, and no proning available. The game is entertaining when you're playing campaign for the first time. After it's beaten, the only thing you get out of it is the pride of beating it. Unless you are a GR fanatic and just wanna play the campaign over and over, the game is useless after it's beaten.
I have the whole Ghost Recon Series (Xbox) and by far this is the best one to date. You can see your enemies in the cross-hairs much easier and the graphics are pretty tight.... much better than the previous ones! I thouroughly enjoyed Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. The HUD is much better also.... very informative and clear. If you're into war games like I am.... then you should enjoy this one!
Like: Levels there is 12 of them and they very from small to large night to dusk to day, also eminse amout of weapons. Grapics are a 7.5 out of 10. game play a lil tough at first but you get the hang of it in like 2 hours.. Has Sweet gear you can call to your aid such as another player sees and gets into conflict with opposing player he or she can call it out and you see it on your map so that you can responed. also can us UAV to spot incoming opposing forces. If i had to give it a overall rating it would be a 8.5 out of 10.
Well, if your a hard core recon lover like myself, your gonna be disapointed this game. It has almost none of the similarities of the old ghost recons. I pre-ordered the game from Ubi-soft 3 months before its release date, i was very disapointed; If u want great multi-player game stick with Summit Strike or Final Assault(Ghost Recon 2 titles). Ubi-soft removed all the things that seperated the Ghost Recon series from it's contemparies like Rainbow 6 and Battlefield and formed this generic cotemporary shooter game with decent graphics and nice HUD but severely lacks the great one-player action that seperated Ghost Recon from other shooter games. Ubi-soft took a step back with this title,(even for the 360); they should've released a game with more maps and with the same game play as Ghost Recon 2. Its very evident that Ubi-soft tried something new with this title and failed miserably.Read full review
