A promising young scientist named Ricky has his hands full after his parents die, leaving him to take care of his little brother, Jermaine, while also trying to keep his full-time job. When a drive-by shooting leaves Jermaine dead, Ricky cannot stand the thought of being the only remaining member of his family.
