This is a used Yamaha HTR-5240 5.1 Ch AV Surround Sound Receiver Stereo System. The HTR-5240 offers Dolby Digital and DTS decoding for digital sources as well as Dolby Pro Logic for analog sources. I got this receiver in 2012 and used it for 10 years. It's served me well, 5 channel surround still sounds better than the built in speakers on your flat panel tv.
