You know this book has a lot of information and is fun for me to read, but I hate the liberal overtones and commentary, a history book should be NEUTRAL. Just read the constitutional page and it says the Second Ammendment is for "military purposes" Sounds like the author dosn't beleive in the individual right to bear arms.
I bought this product to help me study for the AP Test. This book is a standard at our school and I bought one for myself to keep. The true thing that I like about this book is that it has a very distinct attitude. The authors interject some bits of opinions, but does not change the facts.
We have nothing to do with Half.com. For some reason Ebay has this comment associated with our book. I'm just a Senior in high school trying to get rid of my old book to someone who could use it. It even says the comment was created in '06. We didn't put the book up until last week!
This book came in handy when it came to learning our history. This book also contains 2 volumes which is nice..
