TheThe title "The Fiery Cross" is an invitation to find out by reading what is a very lengthy book. Not for the short stay fanatic.
This series by Diana Gabaldon is outstanding. Beautifully researched into the Scottish culture, history, and language. It is an improbable story that is fascinating because of the main characters and her story telling genius. Ms. Gabaldon has a fantastic imagination and great writing and story telling skills. Diana Gabaldon, the writer, is exceptional, The Fiery Cross, is the fifth book in a series of nine and gives the experience of living in America in the 1770's.
