I enjoyed playing this game. Forget about being serious, this game is just plain silly! The little alien dude has got the Jack Nicholson voice down pat! You get to blow up stuff, control humans, read human's thoughts (best part of the game!), and use telepathic powers to move things. You also have tools such as an anal probe and a ray gun. My favorite part of the game is walking around reading people's thoughts. Some of the things the people say are just too hilarious! For example, "Where did I leave my children" or "Look at my new brassier (sp?)! You could torpedo a U-Boat with these things!" The game is similarly structured to Grand Theft Auto. You land your UFO in a location and you can walk around the area freely. You can read minds and collect brains or you can find a mission. There are plenty of missions to cover from a tutorial level at the beginning and several "boss" levels at the end of a series in a location. Basically you're trying to find out what happened to a previous ship that came to earth. If you die, then you have to restart the mission. As far as I know, you have unlimited life since you're being cloned. Also, when you're walking freely, you have to avoid arrousing suspicion or else they'll call in the military to capture you. You can assume a humanoid form as a disguise. The game does get a little repeatative after a while (since it only has about five or six locations), but if you complete all the tasks then you'll get a very special bonus feature! I won't spoil the surprise, but it's worth playing the game for especially if you're a fan of those old cheezy sci-fi movies. You'll have so much fun anal probing people and reading their thoughts!Read full review
it's not as good as the second game destroy all humans 2, but it is still an enjoyable game to play ..the abilities are different between the first and second games,in this one you have to collect dna samples to gain more abilities , new weapons , new shields.. the more dna collected the more you unlock.. the missions are somewhat easy, you will occasionally do a mission thats a real pain .. its more of an annoying thing to have to repeat some of the missions more than once. in this one your spaceship is more easily damaged than in the second game. so if all your wanting to do is DESTROY ALL HUMANS this game delivers just that , your ability to travel around during a mission is limited a warning message will appear , if you ignore it you will automatically be returned to the mission area and you restart the mission over .. the gameplay does deliver as promised an enjoyable game.. so put it in your system and start playing WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR !!!Read full review
One of my favorite all-time movies is MARS ATTACKS. Why? Because I guess I'm a little twisted. Most movies I have no interest in watching more than once. Same with games. Kind of the been there done that syndrome, I guess. But when it comes to cranky little aliens running around the planet with their trusty little ray guns ( thus the title of this review ) I make an exception! It's just plain old silliness from the word "go". Some call it comic relief. I call it entertainment.

For an Xbox title that came out 15 years ago it still has appeal to play. The graphics still hold up while playing on the Xbox One S. My nephew who is younger than the game was impressed and he is a 4k HD type gamer.

I love everything from the zap gun to the disintegrating gun and being able to use telekinesis and launch objects. I also think that the anal gun is pretty funny. You shoot the human and they run away holding their bum and then their head explodes off and your collect the DNA.

I really liked the graphics of DESTROY ALL HUMANS when i saw it on tv so i got curious to play it. its not really my game type, but i loved the little alien guy because he was funny and looked very funny so i knew i was going to enjoy something about it. i enjoyed the funny part but there are too many buttons on the controls which i found to be very complicated, I enjoyed the game a little bit but i prefer my strategy computer games. which has less buttons to press because with the mouse i can do a lot. for me It's symply easier and more enjoyable to play in the computer.
This game brought me back to the good ol' times. Before purchasing this game, I was led to believe it was very open-ended like a Grand Theft Auto game. However, after playing through the entire game, I realized that you were quite limited in the area of exploration. Even if you did traverse the entire town you were allowed to patrol, you would find yourself face-to-face with tanks and mechs ready to take you out before you had time to explore. However, I really enjoyed the different abilites you had at your disposal (especially the telekinesis) and had a lot of fun playing the game from beginning to end. It has an oldschool feel to it kept me addicted. I can't wait to get the sequel!
Tired of your classmates? Tired of your co-workers? Ever want to just jump in a space ship and blow some $hi% up? Welcome to Destroy All Humans. This addictive little game is the remedy for stress. Command an array of weapons on your of destruction. Say goodbye to any annoying little human that might stand in your way. You will enjoy this game for it has amazing re-play value. Have a rough day? Zap some humans away! r e v o l u t i o n r e q u i r e d . c o m
It's a fun throwback to the 50s flying saucer and little green men movies a So the main character is meant to sound like Jack Nicholson. Have fun with an array of space guns to a flying saucer with a death ray destroying cities in your path. A game that was so good it was remade for the Xbox one.

This game was a solid effort in the action/adventure gender. Good graphics and voice acting keep you gazed and laughing outloud and all the destruction you can cause with Crypto just adds to the fun. The only real downfall for me was the game lacked checkpoints, kinda sucked when you make it to the end of a level, die and have to start over from the beginning. Other than gratuitous amounts of pop-in, Destroy All Humans! is delightful to gaze at. Art direction ranks up there with the best games on the market and the design crew implemented the Havok engine nicely. The complete audio portion of Destroy All Humans! is Pox-level brilliance. The voice acting is equally satisfying and filled with the sanitized feel of 50’s style living. Even the obvious reference to Jack Nicholson by Crypto (performed by Grant Albrecht) works, because both the voice actor and scriptwriters have done their homework. The Bottom Line: While not the most lengthy, in-depth action/adventure game on the market, Destroy All Humans! delivers the goods in a more interesting manner than most. From the general premise, all the way through to the smallest art direction and dialogue details, Destroy All Humans! is a fun frolic that you should definitely check out. With no online play or additional features outside of the single player mode, you may want to see if Pandemic’s style in Destroy All Humans! is up your pop-culture alley before dropping your cash on this premium title. Those, however, with an extensive collection of 50’s sci-fi DVD’s and a to-scale model of Gort should already have this sucker in their collection.Read full review
