I am wondering if the clubs are for real or are they some kind of knockoff.I bought a set from ebay and they all say Towwy Arwour, instead of Tommy Armour, the m's have been replaced by w's.They seem to be good clubs, but I am wondering if they are the real thing.I have seen several of these clubs going around ebay.If you do a search on ebay you also will see what I am talking about,I wonder how many people have been sold something that is not what they thought they were getting.I may be wrong, but the pictures don't lie.If you look at the other Tommy Armour style clubs, you can clearly see the difference. If anybody knows wht is going on,please let me know. Happy Hunting to all!!
In my career I found myself travelling a lot, which as a father of two, my weekends were occupied. One side effect of today's economy is that my travel went down and my weekends freed up. In coming back to play, as I used to in College and before, my first objective was to get a good set of clubs. I didn't want the newest technology, I wanted what I never had as a kid playing golf. I wanted a set of Tommy Armour 845s Silver Scot. I had demo'd this set before and I knew I wanted to get a set the first time I played them. I found a set at a garage sale and I immediately purchased them. I had a 1, 3-SW set and found the 2I on e-bay. The 2I in the set immediately allowed me to pull a 5W out of the bag. As a person who shoots around 100, the traditional (non-hybrid low irons) are easy to hit and very straight and I have seen more rounds in the low 90's lately. If I finally learn how to putt, I could probably shoot in the 80's!Read full review

The third golf ball I struck with this superweapon followed a trajectory very similar to that of balls struck with my 8.5 degree driver, and travelled nearly as far! I had heard upon several occasions that, if one HAD to hit a 1-iron, the Tommy Armour 845s Silver Scot was the one to use. I'm deeply satisfied that what I heard was true after hitting one myself. I feel this is one of the best buying decisions I ever made!
just like the picture
