Until very recently, I'd only heard 'Sam Stone' two or three times. Then something jogged my memory and I You Tubed other John Prine songs. My mind was blown and I ordered the 'Great Days' double CD. What an excellent buy and far cheaper on ebay than anywhere else. I'm now Prine's number one fan and that's something for a rapidly ageing woman who dislikes most pop and rock and is really a classical freak. The songs range from heart breaking to hilarious with a backing band that equals that of Hank Williams. I highly recommend this double CD.
