Not a family show
I remember watching Murder She Wrote when it was on TV in a day when they edited out the cursing. I was shocked when getting this DVD series and the first 3 episodes all had at least 3 curse words in it. My 8 year old was watching the first and I made him leave. I watched 2 more to see if it got better, but it did not. So, I will be getting rid of them and won't even watch any more episodes. There were also sexual suggestions in each episode as well. I imagine to some this is mild cursing and suggestion and compared to today's television, it would be considered very tame, but as a Christian, it won't be watched in this house. No cursing is acceptable to God, especially taking His name in vain and they did that in each episode. If you are a Christian, I would not recommend this series. I was offended and wouldn't let my son watch it. Our policy is, if our child can't watch it, we shouldn't be watching it as well as if you wouldn't want Christ sitting next to you watching it, you shouldn't watch it. Could have been a good show. When I cant find anything to watch on the television I pull them out and watch an episode or two. If you are a fan I would make this purchase.
