  • Outstanding, detailed look at pre-911 US foreign policy

I am four chapters in and this is a really amazing book. It is incredibly detailed and provided a lot of insight into the Islamic world leading up to 9/11, such as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Afghanistan. It also underscores that the American people do not have control over their own government and the United States intelligence agencies do what they want.
